This month I thought I would clean up some miscellaneous items that have been on my mind and keep it brief since the links will tell the tale. If you think this social media thing like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter is a fad that will go away well I fear you are mistaken. Why? Well for one Google, Yahoo and Bing are going to integrate the content on social networking sites into the search engine results. This is not going away. Some of you may benefit from it and some will be hurt by it.

I keep hearing from attorneys that they don’t believe their ideal clients are online because they are affluent and educated folks. Well, I suggest you take a look at these articles/statistics and tell me the affluent and educated are not online:

I also hear from attorneys that they don’t see any need to have a newsletter, or collect names, and email addresses off their website.
